Available Play Modes

• Adventure: A roguelite run across a three act map of duels, bosses, and shops. Unlock new cards for your library, customize your decks, and try to take down the guardian of the Lodestone Heart.
• Duel the AI: Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulties using a variety of preassembled deck builds.
• Tutorial: Learn the basics through a guided sequence between Master Vale and Emrys Rooke.
• Online (Windows only): Casual and ranked matchmaking using online service, or host your own room and share the code with a friend.
• Hotseat: Take turns playing against a friend using two players on one screen.

Schools

• Pyre: Kindle your inner fire to climb aspects quickly, or bring the heat down on your enemies.
• Tide: Command the ebb and flow of the sea to turn aside blows, drain your enemy's strength, and wear them down like stone.
• Storm: Channel the fury of the storm into cheap, damaging spells that batter your enemies.
• Shade: Attack your opponent's mind directly. Peek at their hand, force discards, and shut down their plans.
• Steel: Channel the ancient magic of the dragons to fortify your body and land devastating blows.
• Root: Attune to the rhythms of the earth. Regrow your spent spells, see what is coming, and gather the seven Seals to open the gate.
• Freestyle: Forgo specialized magic and bring pure martial skill down on your enemies.
